Charlotte production training center gets $1M expansion
A production automation company is spending $1 million to expand its Charlotte training center. Emerson Process Management, a unit of St. Louis-based Emerson Electric Co. (NYSE:EMR), operates the center to train customers on its machines. Duke Energy Progress says it has closed its purchase of the partial interest in four coal and nuclear plants from the N.C. Eastern Municipal Power Authority.
